Overall, I really like this guitar! I am partial to green guitars and this one looks fabulous. You never quite know when ordering online but I am not disappointed in any way with the finish. The overall craftsmanship appears excellent. In fact, the neck pocket has better fit and finish that my 70th Anniversary Broadcaster. The smooth satin finish on back of neck is a nice touch, esp. if youre bothered by poly.
The neck radius and shape are fine. While I tend to prefer a slightly fatter neck and vintage radius, it is pretty sweet at making big bends; so thats a definite plus. I like the look of vintage bridges but this one is nice; sleek and modern looking with great intonation. I like the comfort belly carve and even wish it had a forearm carve, but I can certainly live without that. It has a great weight for me and is nicely balanced.
Ive read a lot negative comments about noiseless pickups. I will admit, they dont sound like the ones in my Broadcaster, so you should look elsewhere if you are seeking pure vintage tele tone. That said these sound pretty darn good. I have been playing a lot of AC\/DC lately and they sound great to me. They may be a tad flat but that is easily overcome with a good amp, boost pedal or eq pedal.
My biggest complaint is there is no heel carve for better upper fret access. Another minor criticism is the series tone push-pull option. It sounds too dark to me and its doubtful Ill ever use it.
