The other, and in some ways more important aspect of these picks is their length and size. I prefer a shorter pick because I already have long fingers and I like to switch between using and not using a pick, so their shorter length makes that transition easier. Their size is true compared to other picks I've used as well. The only drawback I noticed with these picks, especially the cream and yellow ones, is that they're very sensitive to being brushed on the wound bass strings and create a louder version of that scratching sound you make when the pick lands the string on edge. That's because these picks are acoustically active and create tone. For the yellow and cream colored pick that might take some getting used to. All-in-all if you're looking for a thumb pick and can't find just the right one, these are definitely worth a try.
