I have a couple large office desks that I purchased at Ikea and also some smaller base Rack Mount wood cases that I have recently put as a base for my other rack-mounts to expand my system and it works for me. Eurorack is a rabbit hole so be careful and do a lot or research on the modules you choose to fill these racks with. Also, at least for me, the learning curve was a bit steep and it may take time to figure out good patching techniques that I am still trying to master and frankly remember each time I sit down to experiment. There is a lot of crap on youtube but there is also a lot of good stuff generated by eurorack systems.
