\nUpon writing this review, I came in the house on September 20, 2022 to contact Sweetwater about my cart breaking. Chris Braman was lock step with perfection on helping me with a replacement. As I sat down to receive Chriss email for a label, I notice this email from Sweetwater to write a review on this cart. Im not at all upset about the cart breaking, but felt I should write a review now vs later. I dont care to write reviews unless its justified!
\n
\nIve since gave this cart a very gentle work out. Nothing like my 22 year old multi-cart which has seen a lot. Hauling gear, refrigerators, dryers, washing machines, large wood planks pushing 1,500 lbs of weight. Are you kidding me! What else? Oh, grass clippings, garbage cans, Christmas totes, furniture, I mean come on! I was going to replace my old multi-cart with another one, but the replacement was 3 times the cost. Yeah right\u2026I dont think so! The Gator Frameworks seem to match what my old cart was, but better! I still think its better, but faulty wields are not going to cut it. So hopefully this was just a fluke. If not, quality control needs a new welding system. I do like this cart more than disliking it. I mean, all I want is a cart to do all the dirty heavy lifting and to last a long time like my old multi-cart. If my replacement doesnt hold up, I guess Ill have to spend more money on the new multi-cart or fix my old cart.
\n
\nMy old cart suffered a broken swivel wheel and a couple welds broke on the frame. This was do to extreme abuse by me and wasnt designed to carry the weight that I put on it. Another problem, is that other owners have complained that the newer carts arent as hardy as the old ones. So well see. Until now, Im hoping the Gator will show how tough a cart should be, while keeping cost reasonable.
\n
\nI would still recommend this cart, even with 3 1\/2 stars. If my replacement holds up, Ill write a follow up review and give 5 stars.
