\nI am also very disappointed in the Audient mixer software in general. It is clunky and poorly designed and one big compltaint is that you cannot double click on a fader to bring it to 0, its all manual and there is no numeric readout of where it is at so you just have to guess and get close to 0 but you cannot know if it is exact. This is poor design and should be fixed in software, although the indication is that Audient does not care about their customers needs and likely will ignore it.

\nOne other major problem is that the interface does not remember the output levels after being restarted. This is really a deakbreaker as whenever it is restarted it will reset the volume on both the main outputs as well as the headphones to a different number than what I had left them at and that is just unacceptable. It should absolutely remember its last setting.

\nOverall this is a very poorly designed interface with very basic software drivers. The manual is misleading and Audient customer service does not care. I was very excited to try this out. It looked like it would meet all of my needs. One of my primary needs was two *independent* headphone outputs that could receive audio from DAW outputs and were not linked to any other line outs etc. I did a ton of research on this and read the manual for the EVO 16 online and it very clearly indicates that the \"DAW THRU\" option is available for all outputs including both headphones. It also indicates that there is an output 11-12 which does not exist. I was incredibly disappointed to find that this was entirely untrue. You cannot send from the DAW directly to the headphone outputs independently. They have removed that option and you cannot select it in the driver software. There is also not an output 11-12 to be able to send audio to that goes directly to the headphone 2. I have included screenshots of the diagram in the manual and also the actual options in the drivers once installed which are clearly different. I contacted Audient about this and they simply told me that that is the way it is and they will not be changing it and they obviously did not care. This should be fixable in software. I ONLY bought this interface for this one specific feature and I feel misled because the manual very clearly indicates that it is possible when in reality it is not. This is a dealbreaker for me.
