In a bright guitar this thing cuts without being shrill. It actually, much like the description, does have a pretty nice balance between lows, mids, and highs. It will crunch like nothing else. By itself it sounds like a p90 through a cranked tube amp, and hitting an already distorted amp with this pickup sends it right over the edge into distorted heaven.
